My family and I stayed at the Equestrian sites 1, 2, and 3 for Thanksgiving week. It was amazing! Nice and quiet. Clean restrooms. I will definitely be back!

Arrived to an occupied site. Host was taking the day off, apparently. Bathrooms are a disgrace to Texas and the Army Corps of Engineers.
Unless there’s a specific and compelling reason to stay here, find anyplace else.

We stayed in the Equestrian section as it is the only section open during the cold weather. The sites are basic level gravel pads, no picnic tables or grills. Each site has it's own horse stall and there are grooming places available in the common area. We did not use the shower facilities. We don't have horses so not where we would typically stay but very convenient to all the Waco activities. Would stay here again. Note that the all parks on Waco Lake lock the gates at 10 pm. Great for safety purposes, they provide a parking area if you come in late and you can walk in to your campsite.

Trails are great. Camp sites and pens are very well kept. My only complaint would be that y'all are letting RV's camp in Equine sites.

Loads if volunteer work has been done to keep the campground and trails ready for public use. Sign up the volunteer!

We always like Corp Campgrounds.
I think we have found another favorite....lovely view, lively water (at least when we were there), peaceful.
