The Hideaway RV Park

I just contacted them for the first time in about a year to see if they have any short term sites for next week. They said they would, but call back the day before our trip. We'll give them another try.

Plain and simple RV spot. Gave it 5 stars because I had a issue with my trailer and they let me leave it sitting there for a day to go get my truck and tow it home and did not ask for anything in return. Thanks!

The best RV park in Gatesville! Staff and owners are very friendly. This park truly strives to help guests and maintain a super clean and working park! I loved staying here and would definitely make my way back as soon as I get the opportunity!

I will definitely come back if I'm in the area.. I wish they had mail for long term. I don't have pets so no horror stories of dogs and cats walking around in the rain with no shoes on and then tracking mud on your hardwood marble floors. there are plenty of parks and open fields right down the street if you're feeling frisky enough to jog or picnic or fly a kite.. the ice machine works and the laundry room is small but fine.. there's a Laundromat In town down the street and around the corner. There has never been an issue with plumbing or electric because guess what?! The owners are plumbers, how awesome is that?! It's like the perfect setup!! So if you complain a lot don't stay here and leave space for people who enjoy the countryside of Gatesville TX.

While the owners were friendly this park will not be on our list to stop at again. They say “gravel” but in reality it’s mostly caleche (a mix of rock and mostly dirt). The sites are very close together. This RV park is an addition to a plumbing business. So people that just added on to make some extra money, I think. It was rainy when we stayed, so walking our dogs was a mess. Between the dogs getting muddy the mud was all the way up on my pants, just from walking. The small “weed” cut area to take our dogs for potty breaks was full of pooh : ( Obivously the full-timers there aren’t picking up after their dogs. I witnessed this. We don’t mind not having amenities as it was just a couple of nights (we ended up leaving early), we do want a clean park and area to walk our dogs. If you want a reasonably priced place to stay and don’t mind it not being kept up, this is the place for you.
