The park is very nice now. The equine camp area #2 is pretty much clear of sand burs. Thank you for getting rid of those terrible burs. There are presently no cattle in the trail area, which causes some of the trails to grow over with brush and thistles. When riding horses, we saw a pair of American bald eagles. First time to see any in Texas. The bathrooms and showers are very nice. I hope to spend much more time camping there.

Lake Whitney is a beautiful scenic lake and an amazing place to fish. Never disappoints one of our favorite places to be.

Very nice park, clean and quiet. Could use a little better lighting around the boat ramp but other than that had a great stay

Always a great place to camp. The Thanksgiving family camps tended to be late and loud this time. The reduced security made it more uncomfortable than ever before. Otherwise, excellent.

The park is very well maintained and quiet. It would be nice if there was more lighting at the boat ramp but other than that it is a great place to stay.
