Very good experience, great playgrounds for the kids and campsite was nice and shady. Only bad thing was the trees needed to be trimmed so campers won’t get scratched.

Stickers everywhere. Had to pull out of shoes, clothes, dogs and throw rug away so not to bring home. Need to move and spray for stickers.

Nice campground with friendly staff. It has a couple of good playgrounds for the kids, a swim beach and some good fishing.

Beautiful shade tress everywhere. We enjoyed every minute we were there. The restrooms were in good shape and well lit as well as centrally located.

It is a beautifully simplistic and very well maintained facility and secure as well.

Equestrians: We were warned about poachers/hunters on the equine trails by the staff. He told us we should have orange on. We encountered 2 poachers/hunters while riding at dusk. Neither had orange. Both in tree stands with riffles. As we were leaving I went in the office to show the staff where we saw the hunters in tree stands on the map and they were over-the-top rude. The lady asked me what I was doing in there, even after I had explained what I was doing in the office. I have no doubt they are in on the illegal hunting and will do nothing about it. Please be safe! I tried calling the game warden, but have not gotten a call back. Currently this is not a safe place to ride your horse! Especially alone.

Super clean park, very calm and quiet environment. Kid friendly, Pet friendly and very well maintained, and specially the bathrooms/showers! Some spots have sticker burrs in the grass, but most don’t, the gate staff is very kind and it’s now my go-to area!
