We really enjoyed the chance to be away and have a quite camp experience. The site was perfect. We were there for the camping and not for the lake recreation, so the equestrian area was perfect. The trees were perfect.

Park was clean and well groomed. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Campsites are older and need attention, asphalt Is crumbling and concrete pads for camper wheels are too close together for newer campers causing the wheels on one side to be 18” off the cement to one side and low. Many of the back in sites are very hard to impossible for 35’+ trailers to back into. That said, it’s a quiet, beautiful park perfect for relaxing.

We have visited 2 weekends in a row. Great location and facility. Loved the sandy beach and swimming spot we found in the day camping area.

I originally was in a site 3 with 30 amp. It was beautiful, shaded and not too close to neighbors. The Verizon cell service there was spotty. I moved to a non electric tent site, 53, because it’s right on the water and no one else was there. The cell service was much better, 3 bars Verizon. I could access the internet. The grounds for hiking, biking, boating are fabulous. Nice playgrounds for kids. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. I would definitely return.
