Sure 42 is horrible! No shade, table is very old and made of wood. Benches swag down and are very dangerous. When you step out of trailer, you have to step down 3 levels to get to table. Boards are very old and dangerous. We camp here every other weekend but will never again if 42 is only site available.

The park was not to small or too big. I like the view of the lake and swimming, kayaking. I felt safe riding our bikes. The only thing I was not to crazy about is our neighbor had a bday party and his guest (kids) were running into our campsite. Not a big deal but they had at least 5 vehicles on their site and others parked all over the park which way exceeded the limit of guest allowed. Security drove by several times and did or said nothing. Not a big deal because they were not bothering us but this could have gotten out of hand really fast. Overall a very nice stay. Not much reception on cell phones not just in the park but in the town.

We stayed a week and it was nice and lots of wildlife to see. Bathroom ran out of toilet paper we had use our own.

It's a nice park, especially the spots right off the water (although no shade). The parking pads are gravel and not especially level. The only issue that I had was the site sloped off quickly and my stairs were too short to touch the ground. I had to place something under the legs to have them reach the ground. I did not check out the shower house so I cannot comment on this piece.
