The beach area was amazing! The water was much cleaner than other lakes I've swam in. The sand covered the bottom of the whole swim area. There wasn't any garbage or excess debris along the beach area. The bathrooms had excellent working hot showers!

Camp site was fine. Grass was tall enough the hosts felt it warranted an apology. It was fine with me. The wild flowers were visible.
Men's facility #3 is in need of work

My family had such an amazing time! Even though it was FREEZING we still had fun. The facilities were clean as well. We will definitely be back soon.

We really enjoyed the park, even though it was cold and rainy a lot of the weekend.

Winter camping at its finest. It was a very cold week. Temperatures got down to 0 degrees, but the fire was nice and warm. Minimal activities from the locals driving thru. Great service for work/school while visiting the area. The site was open and spacious.

Good park with sites right on the water or with views of the water. They have a kids play gym and open area to play. Sites are closer together than a lot of COE parks we've stayed at but not on top of each other. Park is close to the town of Whitney, which has a Brookshires grocery. They have several restaurants, we ate at the pizza place, mexican food and would not recommend either. The Cove restaurant is down "in the holler' and has good food, only open Fri, Sat & Sun. There's a propane business close.

Good park, lots of sites on the water or close. Too few bathrooms and only 1 shower in each. Most sites are level, have good access and nicely spaced. The town of Whitney doesn't have many restaurants, tried the pizza place (yuk), tried the mexican place (so so), found our way to The Cove a restaurant down "in the holler", they have catfish special on Fri, husband said it was good, I had chicken fried chicken, also good. We went a second time and I had the grilled chicken with mushrooms/swiss cheese. I requested no onions and it had a lot of onions, they didn't charge me for that meal. Brookshires grocery has weekly specials with points off your fuel purchase. Camp hosts were friendly.
