What Guests Are Saying
Sunset Campground offers a beautiful and quiet setting within Bryce Canyon National Park, with clean and well-maintained bathrooms and spacious campsites surrounded by trees. Its convenient location allows easy access to hiking trails and scenic viewpoints, enhancing the camping experience. While some sites may be too small for larger RVs and cell service is limited, the overall atmosphere and amenities make it a highly recommended destination for nature lovers.

We loved staying in the B loop (tent only). The stop for the shuttle bus was about a quarter mile walk away (which took us just about anywhere we wanted to go in the park). The bathrooms were kept clean and well stocked with supplies. We loved hiking around the rim walk. The showers at the general store were clean and easy to use. We really enjoyed our time.

We really liked this campground, it’s an excellent location, and the trees are beautiful. We were able to ride around in our bikes and get early access to hiking. You must reserve on Recreation.gov. Even if there’s lots of spots available and you show up in person, the Camp post will direct you to go to the app to book your slot. If you have Verizon, there is plenty of coverage to do this from the campground otherwise I think you’d have to drive till you got service to book a spot. I saw many empty spots online, so we drove there to take a look at them before deciding which one to book. It was confusing when we pulled up because all the signs were up that said the campground was full. The host said she leaves the “full” signs up so that people will book on the app which didn’t make complete sense. Be mindful of the rules at camp and basically don’t use the trees for anything, not even a tiny string of lights are allowed.

The campground spaces were tidy and large. Water and electricity were well provided.
The site was quiet and well managed.
The bathrooms were clean. The staff were welcoming and friendly.
Of course the setting is stunning.
I would definitely recommend it and hope to return one day.

I was excited to fun camping in the park last minute and loved being able to leave the camper van and get right to the trailheads by walking.

Everything was great, when we arrive at the campsite it was clean, the bathrooms were clean too except you had to have your own hand soap because there was none, but other than that everything was good!

Nice site, spots are a bit close together. Some sites have moderate slopes in the logical place to set up a large tent.
