We love to get a spot there as often as possible! Great, beautiful place. Camp hosts are super awesome, helpful, and everything is clean!

Crackfoot was an excellent campground. It was quiet, and you didn't feet crowded, at all. We enjoyed the walking path as well. I was serene and beautiful. September was a great time of year. The weather was excellent!

Loved the campsites and cleanliness of the camp. Only negative we had was an interaction with an older couple. We like the campground for its family friendliness. We had our son and daughter in law and their daughter and three foster children. The kids were really very good but maybe a little loud with their running and playing. They really need this outside experience. The older couple scolded them for their running and fun. The kids learned something about how to behave in public and settled down an little. I am still a little concerned about the manner of the reprimand more than the reprimand. We will be back. Grateful for our wilderness spaces although I am sure it is a little hard on the environment.

Great trails to hide on with your horses. Some are rocky but not for to long. Bring some buckets because you have to carry your water for the horses about 50-75 feet. Also the equestrian camp ground fills up fast with non-equestrian campers fast so book early. I wish there was a way for the Forest Service could better enforce the "must have horses" rule.

We had booked the best spot, not too shady, we had some sun. We saw deer walking around and also cows, that was very nice. The vault toilet was clean.
The only "negative" was that when we got to our spot, there was a large truck parked, belonging to a fisherman. We had to go and find out who the truck belonged to before we could park our RV. Fortunately it didn't take too long, but it could have.
So I guess they should not allow non campers on the campground.
The surrounding area is amazingly beautiful!!

From St. George, Utah, go north on Highway 18 to Central. Take a right on Forest Highway 35 towards Pine Valley. Take a left on Main Street and go 3 miles to the recreation area.
Pine Valley Recreation Area is accessible via Highway 18 from St. George, and Forest Highway 35 leads directly to the area.

Policies & Rules
Cancellation policy
- Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
- Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
- Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
- Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
- One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
- Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
- Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
- Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
