We were expecting two tent spaces, so be prepared to bunk up. The fire pit was placed well, and well maintained. We were right next to a trail that was rarely traveled. The creek wasn't a tough hike and the kids loved going over to it. The water was rushing so adult supervision was necessary. It was very convenient to have the trail close. Having to haul our gear up the trail to the spot was a difficult task, and we ended up leaving half of our gear in the truck to use as needed. The bathrooms were close enough that it wasn't a problem to visit them with the exception of a midnight trip. No animal encounters, aside from other campers animals. We brought our chocolate lab with us and he was nice and comfortable. There was a boil order in the camping area so we brought plenty of water. I made sure to bring enough water for everyone to have 32 ounces a day, in addition to wash water. I am so excited to use this same camp spot again next year, and will be prepared better!
