What Guests Are Saying

Paris Springs Campground is praised for its beautiful location, proximity to Bear Lake, and friendly camp host. Many reviewers enjoyed the cleanliness of the sites and nearby hiking trails, making it a great spot for relaxation and adventure. However, some concerns were raised about maintenance issues, such as the bathrooms and the lack of on-site garbage disposal, as well as the need for clearer boundaries between group sites.

Paris Springs campground itself is beautiful. The facilities are nice and very well maintained. We reserved campsite #7, which was over run by the river. The campsite had dried out a bit, but was not useable. The picnic table was displaced and there really wasn’t a viable place to put a tent. Fortunately we were able to share another site with family members.

This was a beautiful place to camp. We loved that it was a small campground so not a lot of people! The hike to the springs was a delightful bonus! The camp host was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

This campsite is in full shade with water and a vault toilet on site. Eckert, the camp host was amazing. Very friendly, accommodating, helpful and did a great job of keeping the restrooms in tip top shape. There are a few things I am shocked that no one has mentioned in previous reviews. First, this campsite will not hold anywhere near the number of people advertised. We also rented site 001, the other group site, and it also will not hold the number of people advertised, nor does it have parking for that number of people. But at least site 001 is on flat ground. Site 012 is entirely on a slope. So if you want to set up your chairs around the fire pit, you are either leaning backwards, down the hill away from the fire, or leaning toward the fire. We had a pretty good sized family group, with a lot of toddlers. And the little kids were always tripping and falling all over the place because the campground is on a slope and it was just awkward for them. There are a good number of picnic tables that are pretty level, and you can manage to find a few tent spots that are mostly level. There is quite a long parking area that would fit maybe three to five camp trailers, but the entire parking area is also on a slope. So unless you bring enough lumber to build a house, you're not going to have the material needed to level your trailer adequately. There's a small parking area at the base of the campsite for extra parking, but absolutely not enough to accommodate the cars of the number of people this campsite is advertised to hold. If our family reunion group had more than four camp trailers, we really would have been in a bad situation because there would have been nowhere for them to park close to the campsite. In a beautiful area, with lots of trees, but I would not book this site for a family reunion again, unless most of the people were in tents and we had a much smaller group than it is advertised to hold
