What Guests Are Saying
Summit View Campground offers a pleasant camping experience with clean facilities and beautiful mountain scenery, making it ideal for large groups and outdoor activities like ATV riding. However, it lacks water availability and garbage disposal, which has been an ongoing issue for the past two years, causing inconvenience for visitors. Despite these drawbacks, the campground is well-maintained, and the camp host is friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall experience.

The campground is located in a stand of mixed conifer forest with a very good quality water supply. There are many hiking opportunities in the area. Our primary complaint with the campground is the lack of enforcement regarding traffic within the campground. The posted speed limit is 5 MPH which is totally ignored by most individuals. Many campers and ATV/UTV operators drive through the campground, often at speeds exceeding 20 MPH, creating a safety concern and a serious dust problem.
