What Guests Are Saying
Willow Flat Campground is cherished for its beautiful scenery, peaceful atmosphere, and friendly camp host, Chuck, who enhances the experience. Many visitors appreciate the lack of cell service, making it a great spot for family gatherings and outdoor activities like hiking and fishing. However, some amenities, particularly the restrooms and picnic areas, need maintenance and updates, as well as better availability for reservations.

The gazebo is falling apart and has never been replaced or fixed. We like to use that to put a tarp over to keep out rain and to provide shade. Benches around the fire need to have some up keep. The pathway up the stairs is so rocky it is hard for older people in our group to navigate. I feel like this site contributes a lot of money but there doesn't seem to be anything spent on upkeep for this site.

Beautiful camp ground with fun trails. The host was great. Very nice and knowledgeable about the area. Vault toilets were in good shape.

The table at the campground need to be repaired or replaced. The bridges that used to connect the south side to the north side need to be put back.

Beautiful area, friendly host and was very quiet at night. Roads are a bit rough but worth it. Nice hike to a spring in the campground as well

We camped here on our way from Las Vegas to Yellowstone National Park. It’s a beautiful campground, and our tent was set up right next to the river—the sound of the flowing water was absolutely amazing. Even in early August, the nights were a little chilly. The only downside was the restroom; we really wished it had flush toilets. My little one refused to use it because there were so many bugs inside. Still, for a short stay, I would definitely recommend this campground.
