Very beautiful surroundings--lots of campsites. We would have liked to have had all of us together but didn't make reservations quickly enough.

Loved the location of the campsite. It was very easy to get our trailer backed in and the site is very level. Loved how close it was to restrooms and water. Camphost was very friendly and even suggested other campsites that would be great for a trailer. Down side of this site is there really wasn't room for a tent, and due to rain and a stream on the edge of the campsite, there was a large puddle when we first got to the site.

There is free roaming cattle in the campground leaving cow pies everywhere. If it were not for that the rating would be higher. The cattle should not be allowed in the camping area.

I really hope they get the Camp Host situation figured out. Willow Flat has such a good reputation for a great place to camp. However this year our camp hosts in loop B were not the most respectful to others. A few other problems we had were, we were told we can’t go over to loop A and use the flushable bathrooms. We have been camping at Willow Flat for over 35 years and have never been told that. We pay to camp at Willow Flat. I thought that meant the whole campground, not just staying in our loop. The campers from loop A are welcome to go to loop B to hike up to the springs and use the bathrooms. I didn’t know we had to be segregated. They also told, well yelled at my brother for speeding. He wasn’t speeding. He was using his GPS and speedometer to make sure he was going 5 mph.
Remember camp hosts can make or break a campground so I suggest you fix this problem because a lot of people were not happy.

One of the main roads on the campground has been very badly washed out by the flooding and there was no warnings of required off road vehicles.
