What Guests Are Saying

Greendale is praised for its nice campground host, private and scenic camping spots, and convenient proximity to amenities like a gas station and restaurant. Reviewers appreciate the quiet atmosphere and clean facilities, including bathrooms with ample shade from trees. The only downside noted was a malfunctioning spigot for potable water, requiring a short drive to refill water.

Very spacious sites, but not a lot of privacy due to sparse trees. Clean bathrooms. Only downside was our site (001) was close to the road, so there was a bit of traffic noise. Despite the proximity to the road, still saw some deer and hares wandering through the campground! Nice open skies for stargazing.

Very nice area to camp. The parking spot has a bit of a slope, so levelers were valuable.

We took 35 people to Group Site 2 in July. It was very clean and the bathrooms were some of the best pit toilets I’ve ever used. This site was several acres large and the cliffs along one side were perfect for sunrises. The convenience store across the street was great and the dam was just a few minutes away to the north. The tables were very heavy and the water is not near the fire pit-cooking area, but we really enjoyed the beautiful site. Wish there were showers at Greendale!
