What Guests Are Saying
Greendale is praised for its nice campground host, private and scenic camping spots, and convenient proximity to amenities like a gas station and restaurant. Reviewers appreciate the quiet atmosphere and clean facilities, including bathrooms with ample shade from trees. The only downside noted was a malfunctioning spigot for potable water, requiring a short drive to refill water.

We arrived in the rain to find that our reserved campsite was occupied by another camper. The site was NOT marked with our reservation. I reserved the site because it was a pull through and one of the longer sites in the campground to insure my truck and trailer would fit. The camp contact 'camp host' was at another campground down the road. After finding the host in the rain, the response was 'oh, sorry about that...Just find another site...'. I was pretty disappointed. I was able to use a back in site and had to park the truck away from the trailer. Getting soaked after a long travel day was not what I needed. Other than the camp host not doing a simple task of marking the reservation, it was an nice little campground when good spacing between the sites. Zero stars for the camp host - 5 stars for the campground = 3 star review.

Greendale itself was very nice, and super clean when we got there. The only thing I would have liked more was if there were more trees on my specific campsite that I used because we brought some hammocks. (I feel like our campsite was called campsite B, but I just went on another camp out with a campsite B so I could be mixing them up, sorry!) Other than that it was awesome! (Super cold at night, bring hand warmers for sleeping bags)
