Very pretty and quiet. Campsites were a good distance apart and bathrooms were clean.

Very pleasant! Lots of shade. We enjoyed watching a wide diversity of birds at the campground. Convenient to Bear Lake.
Note: "no water hookups" means no water at all. We didn't see any spigots to fill water bottles, etc. We were prepared for this, so it didn't create an issue for us, but clarity on that point would have been welcome.

We love our annual camping trip to Sunrise Campground! This year was especially nice because the campground host was keeping the outhouses especially clean. Outhouses aren't the most pleasant places to go but when they're clean and don't smell bad they're not horrible.
Props to the campground host!!

Well-spaced, private, and shaded campsites, especially in the spruce loop. Very helpful and friendly hosts. Tons of hiking in Logan Canyon. Garden City is just a short drive away with famous raspberry shakes and several diners. The Bear Lake area is great for a beach day or water sports. This campground is a favorite in the summer as it is always 10-15 degrees cooler than the rest of the surrounding area. You might even need an extra blanket for a chilly evening in July.

There was chopped firewood all over the campsite. It looked like they didn’t even try to clean up after the last guests.

The host was rude to us. Not sure if she was having a bad day. She was not welcoming at all and it seemed like she was racially profiling us since we got there. My baby was crying and the kids were making s’mores and having fun and she came and straight up to our camp site yelled at us to shut up. Without any warning. Just started yelling and scolding us. I did not appreciate that. It was unprofessional, disrespectful and demeaning.

Disappointed that for some reason we were not allowed to connect a hose to a tap to fill up the water on our hired RV
