What Guests Are Saying
Aspen Grove offers a stunning natural setting with close proximity to water and beautiful surroundings, making it a favorite for many campers. However, several reviews highlight issues with maintenance, including unsafe picnic tables, poor road conditions, and a lack of amenities like electric service and water access. While some campers appreciate the friendly hosts and clean facilities, concerns about weeds and tight camping spots suggest room for improvement in upkeep and site management.

The site was clean and easy to park and set up our equipment. The nearby bathroom was also clean, warm and pleasant, however the only negative thing I can say was there was no close water to fill a bucket to put out our fire pit at night.

Loop B site we moved to had ample shade and nice bathrooms. Running tap water right next to our campsite, and the table was covered. Also a very nice fire pit. We were in campsite 21. The campground host was very helpful, kept the grounds and restrooms clean. Very beautiful area. The lower campgrounds in Loop A, some have no shade. Only drawback was difficulty in backing our trailer in as the site was not angled, probably because these are older. And the flies were bothersome.. All in all, would love to return.

Lovely campground - we've camped there many times. Starlink is intermittent to unusable, depending on the site, due to the numerous tall trees. No dumpsters in the area so pack it in, pack it out. Trailer pads are paved and level side to side. Salt creek runs through the campground and the sound is calming. Good camping - please don't go there! :-D

I arrived a few hours early and the camp host was wonderful in helping me to settle into my camp site. I inquired about staying one additional day and the camp host was helpful in making those arrangements. The campsite was clean and ready and the whole campground was clean. The Restroom building was clean and equipped with flush toilets and running water in the lavatory sinks. A very pleasant surprise compared to most Forest Service Campground facilities, I will come back for sure and I highly recommend it to others interested. I was tent camping and had a wonderful experience.
