What Guests Are Saying
Aspen Grove offers a stunning natural setting with close proximity to water and beautiful surroundings, making it a favorite for many campers. However, several reviews highlight issues with maintenance, including unsafe picnic tables, poor road conditions, and a lack of amenities like electric service and water access. While some campers appreciate the friendly hosts and clean facilities, concerns about weeds and tight camping spots suggest room for improvement in upkeep and site management.

We were in site 54. One of the few spots with shade. Campground was clean and well maintained. Small marina store close if you forgot something, but it was expensive. We had great cell service with Verizon.

This is a nice campground! It's about 15-20 minutes from the freeway so you don't hear any road noise at all. The road is a winding road and requires attention. We saw lots of chipmunks around camp and even had a deer right in our campground! They have wood for sale and there is a store at the marina, overpriced of course but it's nice to have. We had 2 spots, 45 and 47 and both were nicely shaded with easy access to water and the bathrooms. There are some spots with no shade so look at the pictures provided on this site to verify if it's shady or not. Our campgrounds bordered the woods so lots of places for the kids to explore. The camp hosts were friendly and easy to work with. We had additional cars we had to pay for and didn't know not to park on the vegetation so had to move our vehicles around and the hosts were gracious and understanding. All in all it was a great say and we will be going back!

This is a nice campground and some of the sites are shaded. The reservoir is within walking distance. It's a popular campground, so it is busy.

We went early in the season, and the middle of the week, so it was quiet. There were lots of pretty flowers. People were friendly. The site was nearly level, well maintained, and close to a source of potable water and a restroom. The path down to the boat ramp was just the right distance for a healthy walk. The little store is well stocked but expensive. The site we had was surrounded by trees and reasonably private. Access was easy from the highway. We do not fish, and the water is not for swimming, so the one activity we could do is hike, which we did.
