Green River Campground

Cottonwood trees were majestic. Campground was tidy, and the bathrooms were clean. Dinosaur national monument, petroglyphs, box Canyon, and a old Homestead to explore.

Nice location, fellow campers were very considerate, clean restrooms, great views from the river bank.

We were able to camp near the Green River, it was great, we visited the visitor center the quarry and did several petroglyph hikes. The only thing I found to interrupt the silence and beauty was the running if generators and people keeping their lights on at night. Dinosaur Park is supposed to be dark sky’s. I think a head lamp would be sufficient. Other than that, loved it!

We camped here one night while visiting the Dinosaur Quarry. Our campsite was a drive through which was nice, but our camper door had to face the road which is less than ideal. The table was farther than I would have liked. However there was a great view! The area is very scenic and the quarry is well worth the visit.

A gorgoeus campground with big cottonwwods, yellow blooming rabbit brush right by the river! Camp spaces are large and private. Dinosaur National Monument Visitor Center is a must see!!!

This campground was very nice. Located along the river in the Dinosaur National Monument, near Jensen Utah (most of the monument is in Colorado). We had site B26, gravel with picnic table and fire pit. No Hook-ups, but sunny (for our solar panels) and big enough for our 24’ travel trailer and F150 Truck. Cell service a little slow. Close to to the Quarry Visitor Center and the Quarry Exhibit Hall (wall of fossils). Both a must see. We visited both in an afternoon (2-3 hours).

Nice campground. Basic as advertised. Many sites are too small for a larger tent. Lots of ants.

The stars make up for anything it was lacking though.

Comfortable green campground along the river. Site was level and the bathrooms were clean. Multitudes of flies were the only problem we encountered; not the campground's fault.
