Lovely center of the community campground. Active during the day - silent nights aside from critters munching and crunch through the forest. Easy and accommodating hosts will stay there again. Great value - clean - and serene!

Great campground in the shadow of the mighty Split Mountain. It's a typical NPS campground, nice sites with picnic tables and fire rings, and comfort stations with running water and flush toilets. Cell signal is good, but there are not the amenities you'd find in a state park or private campground (utilities, shower house, wifi, etc). Enjoy it for what it is, in one of the most interesting places on earth. Canyons, desert, mountains, fossils, all within an hour of you, many great hikes. Fishing hint - the Green River, for which the campground is named, is loaded with channel cat. Chicken liver on the bottom, and in early June, right off the bank. Follow Utah fishing regulations and license requirements.

Wonderful park! Nice campground, but some sites have no shade at all, which can be a problem if you’re not prepared. Beautiful bench on the Green River just steps from the campsites.

Beautiful site, but bring your own shade. Not all sites have trees, and the sun is powerful.

My original, on-line, reserved, campsite was in full sun. I found an unreservable site in the shade and asked if I could move to this site. I was told that I would need to cancel my current site (for a $10 fee) and the pay for the new site. I'm not sure why I couldn't just have my reservation moved without a fee.

Restroom facilities need to be updated 1 toilet for 10 campsites. Really hard to get business done.

Great place. Some shade. Plenty of space between campers. Bathrooms were clean but needed maintenance. Easy acces to Dinosaur National monument
