Amazing location. Even though there are a lot of campgrounds at this location, this site feels secluded. It’s right next to the creek and the lake. Lots of fun for the whole family. The camp hosts were amazing too.
The mattresses are more firm. Plan for that.

It was a wonderful place for a cousin reunion. Everyone had lots of room and the campsite was lovely. We brought our dogs and they had loads fun in the lake and staring at the chipmunks and squirrels. On one of the morning we could hear a pack of Coyotes howl and it was amazing.

The good:
* This campground is really close (within a few miles drive) to a lot of hiking trails.
* The clear night sky is incredible at this location.
* The pit toilets were kept clean.
The not-so-good:
* A herd of free-range cows came through the campground - and our campsite - twice. I had to shoo a few cows away from our tent one afternoon and again at 3:30am when they came back. They also left cow pies all over the place (as cows will do).
* A number of the campsites aren't too level, so if you're in a tent you may be sleeping on sloped ground.
* The paved road in the campground has been washed out in some areas and repaired with gravel, which has been subsequently washed out. It's rough in some places.

This is a lovely campground with great access to Lost Lake. Facilities are kept clean, and the sites are well maintained. We will be keeping this campground in our regular rotation in the future. The only minor demerit is the access to potable water. There is only one fixture at the entrance to the campground. However, this is an incredibly minor inconvenience and still puts this campground ahead of others in the Uintas.

Some of the back in spots require you to go the wrong way to get back in. Otherwise, it was great!

Nice campground. There are only a few spots right on the lake (#7 and #6) but those are closest to the road and day-use area so it can get noisy. There is a creek running through the campground which is great if you have little ones. Camp hosts Jamie and Randy were super nice and very accommodating. They've got a water filling station too.
