Beautiful place. Love the camp hosts. Very crowded but seems to handle the crowds we’ll.

I had a very uncomfortable experience with a campground host. I arrived around 1:20PM and was backing into the campsite. The previous occupants were gone. The host came running down the road and said I could not park there because I was too early. I was told to leave and come back later and that I should have realized that 3PM was "check in" time. It was extremely difficult to find a place to park my truck and trailer while I waited until later! That area is small and does no have areas for trucks and trailers to be just parked around. I told her that I was just going to park my trailer and they could clean it while I was there and she told me NO WAY! Except for this encounter, our trip was awesome as always.

The outhouse was clean and had no odor. The campgrounds were clean. There were no loud generators. The campgrounds were great! I wish the Forest was managed better like the ones in Germany and there wasn’t all those dead trees.

Mirror Lake CG has always been my favorite. The campground itself is kept very clean by Penney and Paul, the CG hosts. Mirror Lake is beautiful itself and there are a number of good hiking trails right from the campground or nearby. We plan to make an annual trip to this site. We enjoyed fishing at Mirror Lake. Use a clear bubble followed by about 12 - 18 inches of leader and simply a worm on a hook. You can either leave your bait and watch your bubble/bobber, or reel your line in slowly, keeping your line tight. We also had success with Jake's lures. Mirror Lake is beautiful and there is a hiking path that circles the entire lake.

Fishing was very good for our group! Grandchildren had a lot of fun during our annual trip. Family loves to walk around the lake. Path was in good condition, even in the rain. Good to see Paul and his wife as the camp hosts again.

We had a great time camping at the Mirror Lake campground. It was beautiful. The fishing was great! It is really crowded on the weekends. We love the hiking trails that you can go on right from the campground. The camp hosts really do a great job at keeping the bathrooms as clean as possible.
