Despite the landscape due to a past fire, it is a nice park. It's close to the fishing, clean bathrooms and the camp hosts are always attentive. I've camped here many times. The only game in town if you want to camp near Little Hole. All the people that stay here are here for a purpose {fishing or rafting} and this campground is a nice quiet place to rest. IT IS NOT PRETTY. The fire damage was extreme. No pretty landscape here. But it is paved and has metal roof structures over a sturdy table with benches. Some young trees are doing well in the camp but shade is sparse. Be prepared for afternoon Wyoming winds.
There is fuel, ice, sodas and beer nearby in Dutch John. Get your groceries in Vernal, Rock Springs or somewhere before you arrive. Showers and laundry also available up the road in Dutch John. Not real clean tho. MAKE RESEVATIONS.

Downside is majority of users excessive speed driving through campground! Positive is I’ve been staying at Dripping Springs Campground for over 20 years and the campground host/manager Lee, who has been there for over 2 1/2 years is by far the best campground host ever! He’s extremely efficient, courteous and efficient!

Only one restroom on the opposite side of the campground was available. Water was not available. No advanced notice that water wasn't available, but still charged full price.

Wonderful stretch of river. If you go, please take the regulations seriously, this year I was a little disappointed to find several piles of used toilet paper and firewood along the river.
