What Guests Are Saying
Lucerne Campground is praised for its beautiful location, clean facilities, and friendly staff, with many visitors enjoying the scenic views and proximity to the marina. However, recent reviews indicate a decline in maintenance, with issues such as unclean restrooms, lack of staff presence, and inadequate signage for campsite setups. Despite these drawbacks, many long-time campers remain fond of the area and appreciate the natural beauty and spaciousness of the campground.

This was a great location to checkout all this area has to offer. If you want to use the dump it will cost you $10. The sites were all level asphalt and the bathhouses were kept clean. There isn't a ton of room between sites and there are many boats and extra vehicles around, if you are expecting solitude this isn't the place. We will be back for a longer stay!

We had a great time at the Lucerne Campground at Flaming Gorge. The camp hosts keep the campsites looking good and bathrooms very clean. And we even had a visit from a Forest Range that told all kids about Smokey the Bear. If you get the chance, it's worth the trip.

The camp staff are hypocrites, providing one set of rules for some campers, but playing favorites and making exceptions for other campers. While the campsite itself is nice, they need better, fair staffers.

Everything was well maintained but this was not a camping experience for us. Much more like a KOA. If you are interested in a home base for fishing or boating this would be ideal but if you are looking for a camping experience, you would be better off finding somewhere else.

Our campsite C09 and C10 we're closest to the overlook of the water. We loved the views and how clean everything was kept around the site. The options to get water and dump was so nice too! We will definitely come back someday.
