Plan way ahead and then prepare for whatever weather you get. The campground and surrounding terrain is simply amazing, and just exploring this area would keep one occupied for an entire stay. Skyline arch, Tapestry arch, Broken arch, and Sand-dune arch are within a very short distance. One could drive across the parking area and re-park for the Double-O Arch hike with all of its arches (shhhh - it's my favorite of the whole park).

The experience is magical. You can clearly understand why this campground is full all the time and you have to book it up to six months before. It’s the best way to enjoy the park, in full nature. You have mule deers morning and evening that cross the campgrounds and stop by to say hello. Chipmunks everywhere and of course all the Arch scenery around. You can walk from the campground to several hiking spots: Tapestry Arch, Broken Arch, Sand Arch, and do Devil’s garden trail.
The rangers are really nice and the toilets always clean. You have beautiful sunsets with a view on La Sal mountains and the red rocks, and it’s very calm.
The only things missing are showers and dump. But you can understand that water can’t be provided in the Arch National Park… so be prepared, because you’ll have to go back to Moab if you did not take precautions.

Every spot had something amazing to offer. Every day we went into town to do an activity, Zipline, rafting, ATV, MTB, it was about 40 minutes each way, but we enjoyed every single trip as the scenic drive was amazing. Early morning shadows and sunset vistas allowed for us to capture breathtaking pictures. The campground allowed for us to visit the landscape arch and trails without having to search for a parking spot at the very busy parking area. Bathrooms are clean and campground was very quiet and beautiful. We were up early everyday as it is light out at 5am in the summer. I would recommend this campground to everyone. We were in spot 15 and we had a beautiful view. I would probably pick a spot a few closer to the bathroom next time as the walk seems a little long when it is black out in the middle of the night.

We stayed in site 22 for 2 nights in late May. Beautiful views, spacious sites, level concrete pad, clean restrooms ! They have to truck water in from Moab so you can only fill drinking water jugs, no fresh tank filling. The campground hosts were terrific and the ranger doing the nightly interpretive program came by to invite you to join him at the amphitheater. There is no shade which was good for the solar panel but very hot. The group campsite next door was quiet during the day but noisy from about 9-11pm after the campers returned.
The backside of Skyline Arch is behind the amphitheater and the Devils Garden trailhead is near site 42. Stay on trails, rock, or sandy washes to protect the biological soil crusts that take centuries to establish.

May be possibly my favorite camp ground of any National Park. The views are amazing, heck I even had cell signal with T-Mobile. Most sights are pretty spacious compared to other parks plus really neat rock formations for the kids to climb on providing limitless entertainment.

This was a no frills place to park our tires which was exactly what we needed! We loved being inside the NP to decrease drive time both to and from the campground.

When I visited there was too hot and no shade.
It was early July, should prepare for it.

Very nice host couples, and the camo facilities are nice. The camp reservation system is awkward.and not very informative

Camp sites were well kept. Difficult to use tent stakes but plenty of rocks around to tie down with. We had extra lines with us as we had read about this from others. Camp Host was very helpful and extremely personable. Plenty of hiking opportunities at the end of the park where the campground was.

Very beautiful campsite, great views!
Be aware that at warm days the RV will get so warm that it will impact your night rest…
