Awesome Group Sites. Super close to Islands in the sky and Deadhorse. Also close to hiking, biking, and 4x4 trails. Clean, including pit toilets which are kept in good condition.

This group campsite fit our needs perfectly! The facilities are new and comfortable, and the outhouses were the cleanest I have ever seen.
The location was also convenient for doing things all around the Moab area, while the elevation gain (the campground is at approximately 5800 feet) was sufficient to provide cooler nighttime temperatures during our midsummer stay, and to provide some green vegetation to add to the scenery.
The description of the site said there was not room for a utility trailer in our site, but in reality there was PLENTY of room for our large utility trailer, along with our 6 cars and trucks.

This was exactly as advertised. The dirt road to the site might be a half mile. The pavilion is a good size. There was enough room for a few trailers and trucks. It was clean. The vault toilet could have been a bit cleaner but it didn't smell too bad.

We arrived to the site just before sunset, which was AMAZING across the Mesa. We then got up and drive the short (8 miles) route to Dead Horse Point State Park to veiw the equally amazing sunrise. The campground bathrooms (although pit toilets) were clean and the site was clean and in good shape, with a shelter over the picnic tables, a fire ring, and several good tent sites per group site. We were visited by a wood rat, so guests should make sure to store food properly.
Nice campground with plenty of space for a group with easy access to DHP Sate Park and Islands in the Sky (Canyonlands NP). Also not *too* far away are Moab Giants (a dinosaur themed kitchy touristy place, fun for dinosaur-loving kids), Arches NP, and Moab.

I love this campground. Be wary of when the wind picks up though as it's tough to stake your tent into the rocky ground.

Great location, quiet (not many ATVs thank goodness). Good for folks who want to hear nature and not motors. Really nice camp hosts. Close to mountain bike trail.s

We had a group site and loved it! Gorgeous views, clean restrooms (no running water). We were excited by the mountain lion tracks all around our site but never saw one. The campsite was remote and it took us a little time to find firewood and food (drove to Moab after setting up camp). Great location between Arches, Canyonlands, and Moab. Saw a beautiful sunset and sunrise. Can't wait to go back!

Our site was taken by someone when we arrived (their stuff was there but they were not) so we paid $600 for hotel rooms.
