Lorna and her family are the most wonderful camp hosts! They are very kind, helpful, and thoughtful. We were two young women and they made us feel very safe. They check in with you a few times a day to make sure you're doing well, remind you that they have a satellite phone since there's no service in the area, etc etc. The restrooms are very well maintained and there's a lot of shade in the area. Would love to camp here again!

Tamara is a very friendly Camp Host, does her job very well. We would like to camp wherever she is the Host. Camp grounds were clean and the Pines and shade were a welcoming sight. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks Tamara for being the best Camp Host ever!!!!

Perhaps I should say how crappy it was so no one else will take my spot. Clean water, clean air, clean latrines, sweet Ponderosa aroma, trees just right for my hammock. Smooth paved roads for my tandem, friendly host. Great experience.

we have been going there every year for over 100 years. My husbands
grandfather helped to plant the ponderosa pine trees in the camp ground. The host this year was awesome. She enforced the rules but in a way that was very nice. She kept the bathrooms nice and clean. She is a very nice lady and a great hostess. The Ute Stampede is always fun. The golf course is nice and kept up . The canyon is beautiful and very peaceful. As usual we enjoyed our family reunion there and will be back next year. The only complaint would be that it would be nice if there was water available.

This is a great campsite. Lots of trees for shade and fun hikes to do nearby. Mt Nebo is gorgeous. My one complaint was that water was unavailable. I understand they were having a plumbing issue but I think they should have lowered to cost of a campground per night since we had to haul in all of our water.
The rangers were super friendly and kind and the bathrooms (no flushable toilets) were kept very clean. We had a nice stay.
