Awesome camp hosts. Very helpful. Nice large campsites. Very clean well kept campground. We stayed in the two glamping tents and they were spacious, well appointed and comfortable. Exactly what we were looking for.

The camp hosts were awesome. Very helpful during our stay.
Staying in the campground is peaceful and relaxing.
Took a drive around Nebo Loop. Very beautiful.
8.5 miles to Nephi if you need to go into town.
The Ponderosa Pines are gorgeous and stand between 70-100 feet tall.

We have loved camping in the Ponderosa Uinta for years. This campground has always been well taken care of. They have made significant improvements with the bathroom houses. It is annoying that there is no water available at the site.
The best part is the camp ground hosts. They were so friendly and helpful. They added a nice atmosphere to the camp site and answered any questions we had. They worked hard to clean up sites quickly after campers checked out. The ensured the camp site was safe and comfortable for the guests and also that the environment was properly respected.

They are always there to make sure you have no problems.
Love this area.
Just wish they had a dumpster like their other campgrounds.

Nice friendly folks, small and quiet but very close to the highway. Didn't explore any so can't speak to that but this is a great spot for an overnighter, passing through in my case.

Very good camp host’s but there hasn’t been water at the taps for over two years and very dangerous cottonwood trees that need to be trimmed or cut down. Winds came through while we were camping and knocked one of those trees over and injured a man and just missed hitting and possibly killing two people. $22 per night is to much without water and the danger of old and diseased trees. Forest service needs to fix these problems and until then we won’t be back which is sad because we have stayed at Ponderosa many times.

A beautiful area! Toilets are kept very clean. Visit Devils Kitchen. We just wished the water was working. Camp hosts are great!

There were small white worms falling out of the pine trees onto our picnic table and into our food. There seems to be an infestation in the trees that needs to be taken care of. We ended up moving our cooking and eating area out from under the trees as the insects were falling into our food. Please take care of this problem as it has been going on for a couple of years and is beginning to kill the trees.
