Ponderosa is a wonderful campground with a stream running through it, concrete pads for the tables and fire pits. Excellent access to the Nebo loop and the trail to the top of Mt Nebo. I made fun of all of the locals with their ez ups over their picnic tables in full shade. Then the thunder storms came and I was the silly one with a wet table.

Beautiful, quiet campground in the middle of a grove of 100 year old ponderosa pines.

Love this location. Pit toilet building clean, even had garbage bag inside and soap at outside spigot, but the door's handle needed to be repaired, was a little loose and could not be locked properly. A person walked in on a person in our party because of this. We are sure it will be fixed quickly.

We had a fantastic stay at the Ponderosa campground! The entire place was incredibly clean, including the pit toilets. Watch out for bushes with thorns. The nearby creek drowns out most noise. Overall a wonderful experience and we would highly recommend this campground.

Bathrooms (pit toilets) were very clean and handwashing station outside each was much appreciated. Beautiful camping setting. Very impressed.

The camp host was very nice. The campground was clean with big trees for shade and a creek. It's off the main nebo loop road so it wasn't very noisy. The sites seemed far enough apart that you had some privacy.

Camp hosts were wonderful. Sites were clean and well maintained. Frustrating that there was no water...seems like the water system could be repaired fairly easily, but we worked through it.
