We had our wedding here and it is a gorgeous spot for a group event. The theater is a fun addition to an already beautiful site, and we had our wedding ceremony and dance on the stage. Unfortunately, the water pump wasn't working and we only found out last minute, so had to scramble to bring in enough potable water. The picnic tables are also getting a little worn out, but still functional.

My cousin was married here I'm September and it was gorgeous!!!! The leaves were starting to change colors and the air was crisp and refreshing! Lovely place to visit!

My Uncle got the big group site so we could have a little mini family reunion. It is a great spot for a group and beautiful. The kids loved playing at the adjacent ampitheater as well. I would have given it 4 stars except for 2 things: 1)the is just a lot of dry powdery dirt all around where the tables are, and so all kids were just filthy which is made harder by the 2nd thing... 2) There is NO WATER source nearby for cooking, washing hands and faces, etc...

The site was nice, but the information on Theater in the Pines said there would be water. None of the spigots worked so that needs to be updated. We had to drive. down the canyon to get more water due to the misinformation.

Beautiful place! We had our campground wedding here and it was fantastic - stage is perfect for dancing, picnic area and firepit is perfect for dinner and hanging out. Fantastic hiking from the site.

Come here in the winter if you want some pretty views of the snowy mountains. The drive up isnβt bad at all either - lots of pretty sites to see. You might even spot some wild turkeys!

From I-15, take exit 272 for 800 North toward Orem and proceed east on Highway 52 to the mouth of Provo Canyon. Go east on Highway 189 for 7 miles to Sundance Resort turnoff, Highway 92. Take Highway 92 for 6 miles. Campground will be on your left, past Sundance Resort and Aspen Grove Recreation Area.
The campground is accessible via I-15, approximately 12 miles to the west. From I-15, take exit 272 for 800 North toward Orem and continue east on Highway 52 to Highway 189, which leads to Highway 92 for access to the campground.

Policies & Rules
General
- Check in with host at Mt. Timpanogos Campground upon arrival Amphitheater first come, first served and managed by the Forest Service
- This Campground is in Bear Country Always store food and trash securely to avoid attracting wildlife -Failure to comply may result in fines up to $5,000, removal from your campsite and/or imprisonment Remember, a fed bear is a dead bear; your actions can save lives
- No water available on site; bring all water needed for your stay including drinking water
- Dogs or Domestic Pets Owners must -Control the dog by a leash not to exceed six feet (6β) at all times -Clean up dog feces immediately -Limit two dogs per campsite Do not allow dogs to -Rush, threaten, or attack people/animals -Obstruct or interfere with people, vehicles, or property -Cause damage to vegetation, habitat, or harass wildlife
- Gates open at 7am, Gates close at 10pm; No generators after 10pm; Camping is allowed only within the designated space provided. Do not go beyond the boundaries of your site; Maximum occupancy is 8 people per single site; Reserved campsites will be held until 12pm on the day following your scheduled arrival date; Horses/Off-road vehicles are prohibited in the campground; Leave No Trace; Put all trash in dumpsters, if provided, or properly stored in your vehicle or bear box; Remove all personal property and trash when leaving; Unclean campsites will be reported to the District Ranger LEO; Leaving food/trash in an unoccupied campsite may result in a $5,000 fine; This is a 'pack it in, pack it out' facility; please bring trash bags; Cleaning fish, animals, or bathing where drinking water is supplied is strictly prohibited; Fireworks or other explosives are prohibited. Discharging of a firearm in the campground is not allowed; No fighting or boisterous behavior. Be courteous to your fellow visitor. Keep noise at a reasonable level; No amplified music is allowed in USDA Forest Service campgrounds and facilities. People come to the campgrounds for peace and quiet.
- There is a 2-night minimum stay on weekends; 3-night minimum stay on holiday weekends
- The site capacity for people (150) will be strictly enforced. Additional persons above the maximum at any time (including those visiting for a meal) will be asked to leave.
- Trailers/Campers and RVs Come with water tank filled. Hooking up to spigots or the power in the restrooms, even for medical devices is strictly prohibited SR 92 road is very narrow. Max length of vehicle and trailer longer than 30 feet is not recommended
- Advance Reservations Reservations are required and must be made at least 5 days in advance Walk-ins/first come first serve not available for these sites
- Extra Vehicle - $10 per vehicle, per day (paid on-site cash/check) Firewood - $9 (available at Mt. Timpanogos Campground)
- Please understand that camping/picnicking is an outdoor experience; therefore, we do not give refunds or credits for weather or natural conditions Cancellations within 14 days of the arrival date will forfeit the first night use fee and a $10 cancellation fee No-shows, early departures, or cancellations after the arrival date are not entitled to a refund If a guest does not arrive at the campsite by check-out time the day after scheduled arrival, and does not cancel the reservation, a $20 service fee will be charged and will forfeit the first-night use fee
