We have camped at Granite Flat several times, and really enjoy this campground. Our site this time was just right for our travel trailer and truck, and the camp host was very friendly and helpful. The campground is clean and in good shape.

Needs to have trash dumpsters and a sewer dump would be nice.

The American Fork/Granite Flat area is beautiful. Great hikes close and the nearby Tibble Fork Reservoir is popular for paddle boarding and kayaking. Several OHV/ATV/dirt bike trails attract off-road enthusiasts so lots of noise. We were there over the Fourth holiday and the entire area was a madhouse and down right dangerous at times with folks rushing about trying to find parking and stake out picnic spots. Most of the chaos was down at the reservoir and not in the campground which was at capacity. Our big disappointment was our site #9 which was literally on top of site #10 (think zero lot-line). This proximity was not evident on the campground map. Sites would probabaly work great for large families or people traveling together that want to be next to each other. Not all sites were close-quarters; recommend reading specific site reviews.
