We had a great campsite (it was a double site) and enjoyed time with our family. There were deer around which was exciting. Other than the restrooms being a little far, we had a wonderful time.

Can't beat the location. The mountains are gorgeous. Five minutes from Tibble Fork Reservoir. A few close hikes. The facilities are kept clean and maintained. Our family used four campsites and all were shady and comfortable. Hardly any mosquitos.

We stayed at #22. Beautiful setting for this campground. This spot was tight for our 33 footer (as anticipated) and had 15-20 steps UP to the picnic table/firering which made for a secluded spot but could be difficult for some. There was a nice short footpath to the baseball field that is not mowed/maintained so very disappointing and reason for 4 stars. We went in July and the mosquitoes were definitely out so bring bug spray. Our loop was flat but some of the other loops are not so not as convenient for scooters/bike riding. Overall, wonderful to be a short distance from SLC and feel like you are in another world.

I thought it was covered with a pavilion but two rainstorms later let us know it is not covered but oh so cooling!

Absolutely wonderful! We loved being in the beauty of the trees. It was quite and peaceful. There was some space in between campsites which allowed for some privacy and more quiet. We loved playing at Tibble Fork Reservoir. The only downside was the insane amount of mosquitos! Do NOT forget bug spray! And use it heavily! My toddler got 10 mosquito bites in the first 15 minutes we were there before putting on bug spray! Other than that, we absolutely loved our time at Granite Flat.
