Unfortunately, our specific site had been affected by rising waters in and completely flooded out the double tent site area. We had planned multiple tents from our other campers and 2/3rds of my group was unable to even stay and enjoy the camping due to the inability to utilize the tent sites. I feel that this site should have likely been closed due to the muddy conditions, standing water, and inability to even set tents up at the primary tent site. The camp hosts weren't even a bit concerned about the fact that 2/3rds of my group brought all their gear up to camp that weekend only to find the site unusable.

Campsite 58 - best tent site at Granite Flats. This site does have a bit of a walk from the parking so bring a wagon. There is a creek just below the site with a small wading area for kids to play in. Beautiful hilly mountain to explore surrounding the site and lots of privacy. There is space for 2 medium tents or a medium and 2 small tents. We had a 6 man tent, 2 man, and 4 man tent fit comfortable. Places for several hammocks and lots of room to play. The walk to the bathrooms takes some time. Water is right next to parking and the path back to camp. Tibble Fork Reservoir is just 1 mile away below the campground and Silver Lake Flats is just 2 or 3 miles up a dirt road above the campground. Beautiful area and wonderful campsite.
