Good camping spot, great location for outdoor activities. Care takers were a little much! Extra vehicles at the campsite were $10 a piece, even if you're just visiting the site with the Natl Park pass!! This was a double camp site accommodating 16 people. The host told me we should of loaded 2 cars up to avoid paying for the extra vehicles! I don't know too many people who can load up 8 people in a car, and still have room for camping equip! Apparently this was only my site because the neighboring camp had extra vehicles & their Natl Park passes were good!! Took my side X side for a ride, the camp host tracked me down and said I needed to be charged a vehicle pass because I took it off my trailer!! Also, people from outside the camp site were using the restroom so it wasn't that clean the whole weekend we were there! Too bad because the last few times, I enjoyed this campground. Maybe next time we go somewhere else.

The site were spacious and there were adequate restrooms
The hosts were very friendly & accommodating!
I would give a 5 except for the fact I had difficulty reserving and had to jump 4 sites over 5 days
No cell reception which was ok because I needed some me time
Close to great hiking and views
I Loved this place and will certainly come back

Enjoyed my trip very much. The camp host are amazing, friendly and helpful. Also the regional camp managers were very helpful and friendly. The only complaint I had was the noise from the motorcycles, atv's and other recreational vehicles. It seems like they rev up their engines and speed, at the beginning to the end of the camp grounds, going both ways. There should definitely be some kind of noise ordinance and speed control along that road. This happens til late a night. Other than that it was a beautiful place.

Nice campground. Next to highway though, so noisy at night. Didn't sleep well.

Too close to the main road. Literally 20-30 yards, almost every site. No point in trying to "camp" here with all the vehicle noise. ATV's, motorcycles, and cars of all sorts roaring up and down the road all day and all night long (at 1am and yep, still traffic going up/down the canyon). Literally every 20 seconds you have one of those huge 6-person ATV's zooming by. We left after the first night (reserved a two night stay). Even the kids were ready to bolt. Went to spend time doing the Timp Caves which are super close; we did that, then packed up and will never be back to this campground. Also, liter and "TP" everywhere. Staff/host did a poor job of cleaning up, maybe? Yes, they had the leaf blower out and were hosing down pads/fire pits the next day; but that's it. Trash all over in the woods a mere 10 feet from our tent site. I will say the pit toilet area was actually pretty clean-- if you like pit toilets. Good luck to you if you decide stay at this road side campground.

Group site has amazing views and lots of room. It is hard to keep people not in your group out of the site and restrooms. No water, garbage, or electricity on site. Campground host was incredible.
