What Guests Are Saying
Diamond Campground offers a beautiful and peaceful setting with clean facilities and friendly camp hosts who are accommodating and helpful. Many visitors enjoy the spaciousness between sites and the proximity to nature, including rivers and wildlife, making it a great spot for families and outdoor activities. However, some guests reported issues with flies, wasps, and aggressive cows, along with misleading descriptions of tent camping areas, which detracted from their overall experience.

Paid allot of money for both camp sites that were supposed to have water, but there was no usable water. I would like a large portion of my money back for not communicating that to me ahead of time, and for the inconvenience. Iβve never had this happen before on any previous reservations.

Our favorite spot #25 is different when you get to the campsite. Number 25 is the tiny spot across the street! This is VERY upsetting! To reserve a choice spot on line only to find out that it is a totaly different one at the campground is a classic bait and switch! Luckily the very accommodating camp host found us another spot as our favorite spot (which is numbered as 26 now) had a reservation on it for the same days..... So we ended up moving up to the other end..... I just feel sorry for the poor camp host as he gets all the heat from upset campers when he had nothing to do with the mixup.

Diamond Campground is a very beautiful place. We stayed in a mostly covered tree area and it was perfect for the summer heat! We had teenagers with us and they loved the accessible river not so far away from our campsite. We would stay here again!

Overall an okay, but disappointing experience.
The campground hosts were fine. Neither exceptional nor bad. Not super-friendly, but cordial enough.
Although we had made a reservation well in advance, when we arrived our site was already occupied. We were informed that there were problems with the reservation system. We were offered alternatives, one of which was okay, but not as good as the site we had made a reservation for.
We accepted one of the available sites and were told we'd be given a refund for one of the nights we had reserved. I won't be holding my breath for that refund.
The campground, overall, was in a good orderly condition. Although, the area was wtihin the grazing area of a herd of cows, so there was plenty of cow dung in various spots. We had to clear our site of a few cow pies.
The bathrooms were well maintained and about as clean as one can hope for.
The river is nice, but again, plenty of cows in the area, so plenty of cow dung by the riverbanks.

Great perimeter learning trail for kids. Good size, level spots. It would be a hands down five starts would've been hook ups. Well maintained and clean.
