What Guests Are Saying
Diamond Campground offers a beautiful and peaceful setting with clean facilities and friendly camp hosts who are accommodating and helpful. Many visitors enjoy the spaciousness between sites and the proximity to nature, including rivers and wildlife, making it a great spot for families and outdoor activities. However, some guests reported issues with flies, wasps, and aggressive cows, along with misleading descriptions of tent camping areas, which detracted from their overall experience.

The campground is pretty decent but at dusk every night we would have to stay inside the trailer because of a skunk problem the skunks would go thru anything left outside even none food items and my dog was sprayed on the first night on the last day we were there we went to explore the area and was gone about 4 hours came back to camp to start a fire and get dinner going when we realized that somebody had stole our shovel and roasting sticks right from our sight also had to deal with the camp host a few times a day I doubt we will return maybe to the area but not that campground

The sites were level and nicely spaced, tables and bathrooms in good shape, nice location, and nice discovery trail through the campground. Would camp there again!

Went on Sunday afternoon and spent the first part of the week in a wonderful camp. Clean, quiet and fun:

Don’t expect any amenities. I saw water stations sporadically around the campground.
There is a great little trail that runs through the campground. Loops A and Lower B have good shade. Upper Loop B is more like open prairie with some small cabanas. The river runs right nearby but is out of sight from most of the campground, so go exploring.

We love Diamond CG having camped there many times. The issues I have are regarding upkeep. Toilets aren’t cleaned regularly enough. Garbage disposal can be an issue. Often the dumpsters are over full and garbage ends up on the ground.

Really nice campground we really enjoyed the nature walk trails. They have some nice RV spots with really good shade. Only complaint is getting eaten alive by bugs, which isn't really the campgrounds fault.

Overall good experience. Our site was still occupied by the previous campers and they were no where to be found. The camp host showed us what was available and was able to find an alternative. Very helpful. Bathrooms were clean.

My new favorite place to camp! Bathrooms were cleanest camp toilets ive seen, river to play in, trails to explore, and sand to play in/rock climbing just 5-10 minute drive up the road. We went in the middle of July, but the heat didn’t bother us too much. Already excited to go back someday.
