What Guests Are Saying
Diamond Campground offers a beautiful and peaceful setting with clean facilities and friendly camp hosts who are accommodating and helpful. Many visitors enjoy the spaciousness between sites and the proximity to nature, including rivers and wildlife, making it a great spot for families and outdoor activities. However, some guests reported issues with flies, wasps, and aggressive cows, along with misleading descriptions of tent camping areas, which detracted from their overall experience.

The campsite is easy to access and has long driveways for your camper. The restrooms were very clean and even smelled good. One issue was the cow pies seemingly everywhere... They also have a "Discovery Trail" that was fun to take the kids on. We loved being close to the Fifth Water Hot Springs hike. The campsites are fairly spread out. The elevation isn't too different from the valley, so we didn't experience much of a temperature drop. They do have large trees, but depending on your campsite you may or may not be getting shade.

Our experience was not as good as in past years. The site was not clean when we arrived. You might want to bring your own leaf blower and shovel. There were cows in the camp sites leaving poop everywhere. We had to scrape off the trailer pavement so we wouldnβt have to walk in it. Our visit was interrupted by a bear sighting and was asked to break camp and evacuate. The bear was caught before we finished packing so we finished our reservation stay. A camp host was hired on our last day of camping.

We received an email that there were bear problems and our trip had to start day late. Then two days later we chased a bear out of camp. Then we were kicked out another day early. We were told we would get a full refund for trip but only got a refund for the days we were kicked out of camp.

Site B-56 was very private. Felt like we had the place to ourselves. The bathroom was well maintained. I liked that our site was near the creek.
We hiked to fifth water hot springs. It was a much more strenuous hike then we anticipated. 2.5 miles in , all up hill, rough trail in spots. Beautiful along the creek but we should have had more water. It's a sulphur spring, the pools were not very deep. they were OK, but not worth the hike for us.

Diamond is a great place for kids. They love being able to ride their bikes and scooters, and they love the nature walk.

Fun campground with nice sites. There is a trail that kids can hike or bike on that is fun. We have T-Mobile and our phones worked here. Only negative was our firepit being full of garbage when we arrived, and the dumpsters were close to being full. Overall we had a fun time and plan to go back in the future.
