What an amazing spot to camp - the campground is kept immaculate and its location against the red cliffs is breathtaking.

This is a beautiful location with well maintained sites, clean vault toilets, and potable water. Other campers were respectful. There is significant day use, especially of large groups that can be noisy (sound travels easily in the rocky canyon).

We drove to the site but could not set up the tent since the site was too wet so went to hotel.

Beautiful but really busy! Lots of people doing day hikes, parking in campsites and in front of no parking signs, blocked me in. My main gripe is the excessive $8 reservation fee, in this case it was more than the camping cost (7.50). Boo!

Probably one of the most stunning campgrounds i've ever stayed at. Very clean, with wonderful hiking trails to explore all around. The only negative is that the lack of a campground host means that not-so-savory folks can ruin the experience with noise (partying, or generators) exceeding quiet time, or coming back to the campground to find someone in your spot and unwilling to move (experienced both during my stay).
Great campsite, but seriously in need of a host.
