A sweet, little campground with lovely surroundings. Some sites have picnic shelters and some don’t. Spaces are small and fairly close together. We loved our night there and wish we had another.

This is just the best alternate to Zion. Reserved camp sites, good hikes from camp, desert scenery, and many fewer people. Our experience was ruined by some inconsiderate person that was camped in the site I had reserved, and paid for. Worse yet ( or maybe better, I was pretty hot) they were off in town or somewhere and all their gear and a vehicle were still in the site. 50 years of camping and this was a sad first. We pitched our tent in the paved parking lot and left in the morning. Oh the Joy.
I would give this campground a try again. It looked very nice for a tent camper.

Love the location. There are only 11 campsites and they are well spaced. You are literally in the red rocks here.
As a note of caution, there are many day hikers who drive through and park in the campground. One of our neighbors in another campsite had some things taken while they were away for the day. It's unfortunate, but you should not leave anything of value in the campsite if you are away. Otherwise, nothing but praise for this campground.

SOOOO much better having reservations. Literally a 100 less people a day driving through to find a spot. Really need to have a camp host. Check/ clean sites. Empty fire pits. Monitor overnight “squatters”, day users. We ended up calling and staying 4 nights, EVERY night someone parked in someone else’s spot and had to move. 3 got lucky and stayed in another open spot where Someone did not show up, and they did not pay

Beautiful campground, our site was hard to level so watch the details of the driveway.
