This was a last-minute switch as we were supposed to stay at the Grand Canyon North ram Lodge, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. This ended up being one of our favorite campgrounds ever! So quiet and peaceful with beautiful views, and deer everywhere. There was a great range program on Mountain Lions just a quick walk away that was engaging, and a star program later that was so/so. In the morning we got fruit pies and cinnamon rolls from the Gifford House and that was such a highlight. Will absolutely come back to this campground!

Great location. It's right by the Gifford house, which had pie in the mornings.

Great campsite. We loved the deer and fawns that grazed so comfortably near all the campers. The kids thought the evening ranger program was enjoyable.

The camp host was friendly and responsive. The campsite was gorgeous and had big beautiful trees. There were friendly deer at the camp and it was just lovely overall.

The campgrounds are basic but kept clean and the host was very present. There was WiFi availability (pretty good) otherwise the area is very off the grid. It is siviesveful and quiet and relaxing. There was rain while we were there… a rarity in the area, and some of the camp spots were very wet (tents in water pools) but with our roofnest tent and screen house we were very comfortable. There are programs scheduled in the amphitheater at the campground (they were cancelled because of the weather) and the gift shop at Gifford House is very convenient. The pies amazing! Just watching the horses at the farm and enjoying the views was wonderful.

Excellent campground. Clean bathrooms, great ranger program, and along the river.

Excellent campground in a beautiful setting. Campground is clean and has potable water, a dump station. The site we had was level and had a picnic table and fire pit. The only downside was all the barking dogs from other campers. Nothing destroys a relaxing evening at your campsite like half a dozen yappy canines.

The isolated camp site area was not treed and sun was too hot, 95 at 6:30 pm. We left and did not camp.

Camp host was a rude. A guy we met on a hike offered us a place to stay at his campsite, the host said it was against the rules to have us stay. The man Joseph was a single guest and we only had 2. When we asked him why it was a problem he told us he was going to call the authorities and kick us all out of the campground. I ended up buying a slot next to Joseph to avoid any problems. We had a great night but I wouldn’t go back though, just because of the host.
