Site C068 was an amazing campsite! This entire site was well shaded, and also was a short walk from bathrooms, water, and dumpsters. This site is on the corner of the campsite and overlooks the orchards and field, which many deer passed through. There is an orchard irrigation system that runs right along this campsite, which makes for great white noise if you don't mind running water sounds. There is the freemont river trail about 100 yards away that takes you to the river to cool off and goes along a beautiful horse pasture with a mom and baby horse. The trail continues to an incline with views. Make sure to get a warm, fresh pie from the Gifford house when they open at 9am, before they sell out.

Loop A where we stayed was very peaceful, and close to the river where our grandkids floated downstream. We missed having electric hookup for our RV since the weather was so hot that week. Otherwise, it's a great place to visit.

Beautiful location in a shaded area. Bathrooms were clean and hosts were friendly. We especially enjoyed the herd of deer that shared the campgrounds with us.

Great campsite and campground. Bathrooms were clean and in good repair. So many deer walking through and hanging out in the campground. They were fun to watch.

This campground was literally a refreshing oasis in the high desert. We loved the shade, the clean bathrooms, the amazingly quiet campsites , the proximity to a few hikes and the fresh peach pie at The Gifford House.
