The camp site was far to small. It said that it was 25 feet. There was no way that I could have even parked my truck in the stall, yet alone 24 foot camper which we had when we went there. The kind camp host said he couldn’t put us anywhere else because it was all booked up. We just ended up driving home. The camp site website is inaccurate and fraudulent because they are selling spots that will not accommodate stated equipment.

We have camped at Monte Cristo multiple times this summer and we love it there. The bathrooms are clean and the sites are gorgeous! It is definitely one of our favorite campgrounds in Utah.

This is an awesome campground, and the hosts are the best ever. When I got to my site, the ground around it had been raked. WHAT? Yes raked and totally clean. Very beautiful and very cool, about 25 degrees cooler than the valley temps.

when we arrived we found lots of food waste in the camp site (uneaten melon, rotten potatoes, onion peels, egg shells, etc..). lots of trash and garbage around the fire pit and tables. We had to spend a fair amount of time cleaning up before we could settle in. the area around the fire pit was littered with charcoal and ash from the pit. Partially burned logs had been tossed into the bushes.
This site is directly across from the bathrooms and there are plenty of people cutting paths through this site to get to the restroom. Expect plenty of neighbors walking through to use the facilities. This site also right behind (less than 30 feet) a rather large site and a trail has been cut between the two.

Fantastic group site for our family reunion. Beautiful park and beautiful area. Camp host was helpful and pleasant to work with. Bathrooms were kept clean and well supplied. Neighboring camps worked together to ensure everyone had a good time. Looking forward to returning.

We had a great time. It was everything we expected. Hot during the day and cooler temperatures at night made it really pleasant. The camp hosts were great. They made our visit very special.
