Winhall Brook is our favorite campground. It is very peaceful and quiet. Everything is clean: the sites, the bathrooms, everything. The campground is divided by 2 rivers, and you can hear the river from most every site; so sleeping is great. A rail trail goes through the campground; giving very easy, great walking for everyone. It’s such a wonderful campground.

We rode our bikes around the grounds.
Walked in the water with our water shoes on to make it more enjoyable. Drove to Woodstock on a rainy day as it was one hour north.

Site S7 with electric/water. Site was large and freshly mowed grass which was somewhat unexpected due to the dry summer in 2020. Restrooms and showers were always clean during our visit.
The very friendly host at check-in provided a very thorough explanation of the campground including the hiking trails in the park. We walked the the 6 miles along the West River Trail (North) to and from South Londonderry and really enjoyed it.
The park exceeded our expectations! The only con would be that the rubbish bins are located at the office so it requires a walk or drive to dispose of your trash. I assume this is required because of the narrow bridge to the south side. However, the pro of the rubbish away from the campsites is that there are no garbage trucks/noise near the campsites plus the walk is good exercise.

This place is the best! Beautifully grassy sites, nice paved roads, facilities are all in good order and always clean. There are two rivers that meet here. There is a two mile flat hiking trail built on an old rail bed. And plenty of additional mountain trails

It is always a pleasure to camp at WB. The sites are well maintained and usually grassy. The clean up facilities are first rate. Never a problem checking in.

Wife was upset about no wifi coverage. Maintained very well. The 1/2 mile hike trail was blocked by trees over the trail. Excellent experience. Will return.
