Need more rangers to control people speeding in park it has gotten out of hand someone is going to get ran over trying to go for a walk Please do something to help before someone loses there life

Tight corners with other sites interrupt if the point. At the end of the island is the good spots. Overall good time though. Lake needs to be stocked more often.

I thoroughly enjoy this campground and fught for spaces every year. My family and I have been coming for the last several years. Beautiful, spacious sites and friendly staff make it a trip to look forward to.

From HWY 220, take the Bassett, VA exit onto HWY 57 West. Go approximately 10 miles to Goose Point Road. Look for brown Goose Point Park sign, turn right, then go 5 miles on a paved road to the park entrance.

General
- Access road and park roads are hilly, winding and narrow and may be difficult for larger RVs to navigate.
- Two vehicles are allowed per campsite.
- A fee of $7/day will be charged for extra vehicles at the campground.
- Park gates closed
- Alcohol is prohibited.
- Don't Move Firewood: Protect your forests from tree-killing pests by buying your firewood locally and burning it on-site. Visit Dontmovefirewood.org for further information.
- STOP THE SPREAD OF INVASIVE SPECIES. Remove plants, seeds, animals, and mud from boots, gear, pets, and vehicles. Clean your gear before entering and leaving the recreation site. Stay on designated roads and trails, and follow local guidelines for firewood. CLEAN, DRAIN, DRY boats and any other recreational equipment that contacts water.
