Goose Point is a beautiful COE campground. When making reservations it’s easy to miss that the campground loops are on 3 different elevations. Sites 1-34 are on a peninsula near the lake, sites 35-44 are for dry camping only and are on a higher elevation, and sites 45-63 are even on a higher elevation. To get to the water from the two higher elevations, a vehicle is likely needed down a steep grade. We stayed in site 53. The roads and many sites are tight, but many larger RVs than ours had navigated successfully. There were small restrooms on the highest level, but no showers. Showers were down the hill with additional bathrooms near the second level. They were clean, but did not drain well. The dump station was across the road from this bathroom/showers, a bit of a challenge to get to and turn around for those camping on the third level. Like most campgrounds, the weekends were full, but there were some empty sites on most weekdays. The campground is remote with only a handful of small stores within 30 minutes. Most sites are gravel (a few paved) with back-ins mixed with pull throughs. Our electric and water hook-ups were at the front of the site (like many others on the third level), requiring at least 30 feet of hose and cord once we backed in to the most level part of the site. Lots of shade. We enjoyed our stay!

Serene, not overdeveloped, beach is kid noisy but expected. Campers were courteous. Out of the way off the beaten path, having a paddle craft will make the experience must more wonderful

Very nice people at the front entrance. Also the sites were nice and clean and also the bathrooms. The road coming in was a little challenging but we took a 35ft 5th wheel down with no problem. We will visit again.

Pull thru site too small. Only use back in sites when booking on the hill

My happy place. I bring sweets to the guard house. They always are professional but make me feel like family!
