Wonderful, peaceful experience, Great kayaking around the lake. Do not miss the Philpott Dam visitor Center and views from the dam overlook.

First trip and what a wonderful campground, great views, well maintained and patrolled. Restrooms are very clean and well kept up on a regular bases. The sites are mainly set up for smaller campers, but there are ones to accommodate larger rigs, especially in loop C. Loops A & B are definitely not for large TT's. If you haven't been there, it's worth the trip.

Goose Point is one of our absolute favorite places to camp. Just wish it was easier to book a site there

We just love the mountains and Goose Point seems to offer camping for everyone. Trailers, tents, and motorhomes are all welcomed. But call ahead because not all camp sites will fit long trailers. It is more or less in three sections, bottom down by the water is for trailers mostly, center is for tents and upper section trailers and tents. Upper section best for phone service and more quiet. Very nice people working there and clean . Will go again.

We were hoping & praying that we'd be able to get into our site earlier than the 5PM check in bc the weather service had been predicting 80% heavy rain beginning at 4PM. At 2:45PM someone from Goose Point called to tell us that our site had been vacated so we could come earlier if we'd like to. We arrived 30 minutes later and got set up just in time. CUDOO'S to Goose Point!!

Small but well equipped campsites. Generous amount of wood much less expensive than at other campgrounds. The showers and bathroom were immaculate when we got there. Unfortunately we had neighbors with booming voices. they did not stay up late everything shut down at 10:30 but since we were in a tent it was hard for us. Everyone at the campground seems to be very respectful of others spaces maybe even a little less friendly than I expected. I love the fact that just about everybody had a dog or two. And all the dogs were well-behaved.
