Our three interactions with the Buffalo Park, camp hosts, in the entrance office. Each of the three hosts were courteous, friendly and very helpful especially since this was our first visit to Buffalo Park. Our campsite was beautifully located to were we overlooked the shoreline of the lake. The campsite was well groomed and ready for us to setup the campsite for our visit. We were pleasantly surprised to learn there would be a Friday night Trivia in the picnic area. I believe Steve was the name who was the leader of the Friday night Trivia. We enjoyed the questions and learning more about Kerr Lake. In fact, we enjoyed it so much we went to the Saturday night singing at Rudds Park. While there my mother became overly hot and just about passed out. Thankfully with help from other attendees we took mother to my car and turned on the air conditioning. One lady, camp host, went to get some paper towels she soaked in cold water to put around mother's neck and on her face. Mother responded well and recovered with the AC and cold wet towels.
On another matter, I witnessed what I believe was abuse to a small dog at the swimming area. I reported this situation to Ed, camp host, and he passed my concern to the appropriate person who then contacted me and the lady who had the dog. I was concerned the lady would find out I made this complaint. Thankfully she did not confront me. I still think about this dog and am concerned for it.
On this trip I had my 88 year mother with me and we like to watch the daily news. Regretfully I was unable to get a TV signal. With this said is there plans to have WiFi for your campers in the future?

First camping trip in my new little Toad Glamper with granddaughter!! We spent 2 nights and everyone was so helpful and nice.
Site was shady and well taken care of. Facilities were clean and short distance to our site. Will definitely return when another available
spot opens!

Really enjoyed our visit to Buffalo Park. It's a small park and we stayed three nights at site 15. Site was two levels, with trailer and all hookups level with the main road and another level a dozen or so steps down the hill. Fire pit, picnic table and pole make for a comfortable spot. Very nice woodsy/waterfront view. Quiet location, although you are pretty close to the boat ramp. 50/30A and decent water pressure. Dump station is on a bit of a downward slope, so next time we'll come through the other way. We took a look around at the 9 other sites and there are 2 or 3 we would consider as well. Check out the swim area during the day and be sure to see a sunset at the river's edge. The days we were there Ed ran the show and was always available for a questions, directions, etc. For entertainment, we rented a small pontoon boat from Clarkesville Marine Rental and spent the day on the reservoir. Kerr is absolutely a HUGE body of water and the day was spectacular. Dining was a little weak in town, but we did have a nice dinner at Coopers Landing Inn.

This was our first time at Buffalo Park. It is a small, but lovely, clean, quiet place to camp! Gorgeous views of the water, nice beach and picnic area and very friendly, helpful personnel. We will be back!

At 2 a.m cops came threw fast and approached a tent nearby. No one from Buffalo park came to reassure any guest. All in all we like the park. But that night was crazy! We definitely have a crazy story from our visit.

We have visited Buffalo Park several times and love it every time. We love the water front sites. It allows our 3 children to play in the water while we cook out and relax.
