I was under the impression that there was going to be a crackdown on generators running 24 hours day on non-electric sites. Large motor homes and campers are constantly pulling into these non-electric sites and running generator all day and night. if you post you're going to stop this practice, then enforce it. These generators take away from the tranquility of the campground. If the majority of us with motorhomes and campers can book and use electric sites, then there should be an understanding that non-electric sites are just what they say, non-electric and not a generator city.
The number of ranger patrols was also at an all-time low for the two weeks we were there. Usually, we see rangers patrolling consistently. Their presence really does help keep the calm but there was hardly a presence. This was our third visit this year and the patrols were definitely way less that past visits.

It felt safe because the campsites are gated. And it seemed strict with all the rules, but there was no one enforcing them. Especially, the no music after 10 pm. People were partying until 2 AM. We did not get any sleep. The bathrooms were recked from the weekend and we requested for them to be cleaned after everyone left, but that didn't happen either. Our campsite still had trash on it from the people before us. We left early and won't be back. We thought it was going to be a nice, quiet, relaxing weekend.

We couldn't find a site for Thurs, Fri & Saturday night, so we booked 3 different sites for 1 night each. People canceled at the last minute, so we were able only to move once. PLEASE, if you can't make it, cancel (even if you lose $10 to cancel). It helps ALL campers looking for a site.

Excellent location for camping, peaceful and scenic. Staff was really friendly and polite, ready to help your concern. Restroom and washrooms were clean.

We enjoyed our stay at the North Bend campgrounds. Facilities were clean and kept clean daily. I found the staff listen to patrons on suggestions regarding facilities such as the bath-house. Stayed on B125 which is paved and helpful to my wife's disabilities in getting around our campsite and to and from the bathhouse. The park should set use restriction for sites B125 and B126 for those with a universal state handicap parking tag, Current use of these sites is on a first come/reservation choice. My wife has a Maryland Handicap Parking tag We always enjoy North Bend and the surrounding rural community.
