Our site (C098) was nice and peaceful. It has a connecting path to the neighboring site (C097) but both have their own separate bear boxes. If you are camping in a large group, it would make sense to reserve both.

Site was very nice. Had a great time. As tent campers, site was just right. We hit the Riprap trail and visited the camp store when we got back which was convenient. Overall, a great trip.

Experience was great. Only problem was the menβs room near. Our campsite was out of order.

The site was great - we love the layout. The bathrooms were clean which we really appreciated, especially during the lock down. We hiked to the Appalachian Trail where we saw an amazing vista. All-in-all, a great experience.

Best campground in Shenandoah National Park. The rangers and campground hosts are fantastic: friendly and helpful.

Visited during gov shutdown. Everything was clean and well maintained. Light staff but polite, helpful and professional.

Campground very nice with lot of room. Cell service worked where I was. Great sunset. Site 56 was pitched pretty bad but my levelers helped with that. Lousy dump station. No black tank flush hose. Bathrooms good. Wayside far away. Firewood expensive.

Absolutely loved loft mountain campground. Clean restroom. Very quiet and peaceful. Also, itβs located on the skyline drive.
